What does an audition involve?
The school offer a 2 year Foundation Degree in Ballet & Contemporary Dance and a 1 year Ba (Hons) Top Up in Ballet & Contemporary Dance.
The participant must complete an application form from Rambert School.
The afternoon will be organised around three dance classes: Ballet, Contemporary and Impro. The auditionee will have to present a 1min solo to the music of their choice.
If you are successful, this audition will enable you to enter the second stage audition process for entry to Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London, those
successful candidates will be contacted for an interview.
Age requirements: the dancer must be a minimum age of 16 years old on 1st September 2026.

Guest Lecturers give workshops the morning before the audition. This is an opportunity to discover their styles and get into the swing of things. The studios will be open on 7th December from 08:45 am. and the first workshop stats at 09:30 am.
